About leveraged fi
Leveraged FI is a strategy dedicated to assisting people achieve FI faster than the usual slow method of simply saving and investing.
It’s also about spreading the word about the increasingly popular Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) movement sweeping Australia with much enthusiasm
I regularly publish articles to share my thoughts, insights and key lessons that are helping me stumble along on my own journey.
Personally I’m more of a podcast kind of guy so you’ll find that my posts are succinct, simple and in plain English. I’m sure you have far better things to do with your time than read my ramblings!

About me
As for Mr Leverage, I’m a fairly average Sydney bloke with a keen interest in finance and investing but never really got started until recently. Somehow I stayed ignorant about ETF’s for 10+ years but thankfully the lightbulb finally went off and now I have laser focus on what I want to achieve.
Given that I’ll be smashing through the Big 4-0 very soon, I thought I was too late to the FIRE party. Especially as I also have two beautiful financial drains aged 4 and 2!
Save a million dollars plus? Bugger me, that could never happen in 10-15 years. That’s about my full time salary. Pre-tax.
Then thankfully I finally discovered and understood the common sense approach of ETF investing, (responsible) leveraging and the true magic of compounding… a whole new world opened up. With a bit of effort, determination and patience, I will be very much on my way to having a big slice of FI pie within 10 years, if not sooner.
Looking forward to the journey ahead!
